The Church Grim- Gabriel Bretan | Character Concept

The first character of a personal project I did earlier this year! Was really challenging, I tried really pushing myself with silhouettes and shape language. I did over 25 silhouettes not only to challenge myself but also because i didn't have a set direction on what type of character I wanted him to be. I for sure wanted a wolf element, but i didn't limit myself to one body type. I could see this character as a child, young teen or adult. I also was unsure of his weapon, but as soon as I put more bulk on some of the silhouettes, I was finally happy with my resulting character. This project is my favorite from this year and I'm happy with how much i've improved.
